Financial calculators online are either incredibly basic ("just plug in the numbers") or locked behind corporate websites trying to capture your email. We wanted to build something in between: powerful enough to cover real-world scenarios, simple enough that anyone can use it, and respectful enough to not ask for your personal information.
The idea came from real frustration: trying to calculate a loan EMI in Pakistan and getting results for Indian rates. Trying to find SIP calculators that actually work for multiple countries. Looking for rate benchmarking tools that didn't exist.
All formulas are independently verified against published bank calculators (HDFC, ICICI, SBI, Bankrate, Chase, HSBC, etc.). We run 63 automated math tests on every version to ensure accuracy.
Default rates (central bank and typical bank margins) are researched as of April 2026 and updated monthly. Your actual rate will depend on your credit profile, down payment, and specific bank — but our rate benchmark feature tells you instantly if your bank's quote is competitive for your market.
Yes. fin·calc shows ads to keep the lights on, but there's no paid tier, no premium features, and no paywalls. Every calculator works equally for everyone.
We don't collect your financial data. We don't track you. We don't sell your information. Read our full privacy policy for details.
fin·calc is built by a solo developer using AI-assisted development. It's a real product built to solve real problems, not a generic template or a startup's VC pitch.
