How much do they actually get?

Pick a cost assumption to see how fees and rate markup change the outcome. These are benchmarks, not provider quotes — compare real quotes below.

How this works — and what we don't claim

Reference rate vs provider rate. The reference (mid-market) rate is the midpoint of wholesale prices. Providers convert at their own customer rate, usually below it; the gap is a cost on top of any fee. That's why a "$0 fee" transfer can deliver less than one with a fee.

Provider coverage is verified, prices are not stored. Each provider card links the official page we checked and the date. We don't publish fees, rates or delivery times because they change with amount, funding and payout method, and we have no authorised live feed. Paste the quote a provider shows you and the card works out its true cost against the reference rate.

Rates and freshness. Reference rates come from a daily snapshot (ExchangeRate-API free tier, European Central Bank fallback). History uses European Central Bank reference rates where the ECB publishes the currency, and otherwise the site's own daily archive, which only goes back to August 2026. Every figure shows its source and date; old snapshots are labelled indicative; currencies without a rate say so instead of showing a number.

Benchmarks. UN Sustainable Development Goal 10.c: remittance costs below 3% by 2030. World Bank Remittance Prices Worldwide, Q3 2025: global average 6.36% for sending $200. See the methodology and true cost calculator.

Questions

Why no live provider prices? They change through the day and depend on how you pay and how your recipient is paid. Rather than invent them, we show who serves your route and let you check each provider's real quote.

Is my data sent anywhere? No. Everything runs in your browser; we don't ask for any personal or bank details.
