Typical local unit(s): tael, Gram (g). Typical purity: 24K / .999+ (fine).
Hong Kong retail gold ("足金", pure gold) must be at least 999 fineness (Au999/24K) to carry that label, with 999.9 ("千足金") for higher-purity bars; prices are quoted per tael as well as per gram. (Source: Chow Tai Fook Jewellery)

Good to know
