US mutual fund & ETF directory

Look up US mutual fund and ETF share-class tickers from the SEC's own public registrant list. This is an identity directory only — ticker, SEC series and class IDs and the registrant's CIK, linking to the registrant's public filings on SEC EDGAR. No NAVs, no performance, no fees, no recommendations.

Frequently Asked Questions

Where does this list come from?

Directly from the SEC's own public company_tickers_mf.json file, refreshed on a schedule. It maps each mutual-fund and ETF share-class ticker to the fund's SEC identifiers: the registrant's CIK, the series ID (the fund itself) and the class ID (the share class).

Why is there no fund name, price or performance?

The SEC file carries identifiers only — no names — and fin·calc doesn't have a licensed fund-data feed connected yet (see the Invest overview). Rather than guess a name or show an unlicensed NAV, this directory gives you the verifiable identifiers and a direct link to the registrant's own filings, where the fund's prospectus and holdings reports live.

What are series and class IDs?

A fund trust (the registrant, identified by its CIK) can offer many funds, called series (IDs beginning with S), and each series can have several share classes (IDs beginning with C), each with its own ticker. Two tickers with the same series ID are two share classes of the same fund.
