US stock screener
Filter US-listed companies by numbers taken straight from their SEC annual filings: revenue, net margin, return on equity and leverage. There are no prices, targets or ratings here — a screen narrows a list, it does not tell you what to buy.

Frequently Asked Questions
Where do the numbers come from?
From the SEC's own XBRL "frames" data — the figures each company tagged in its annual report (10-K). The fiscal year shown is the one closest to the calendar year in the note above, so companies with off-calendar year-ends are matched to their nearest year. Figures are as originally filed in US dollars; restatements, adjustments and non-GAAP measures are not applied.
How are the ratios calculated?
Net margin is net income divided by revenue. Return on equity is net income divided by year-end shareholders' equity, and is left blank when equity is zero or negative. Liabilities / equity is total liabilities divided by shareholders' equity (total assets minus equity when a company doesn't tag liabilities). These are simple year-end figures, not averages, and not a verdict on any company.
Why is there no price, P/E or market cap?
Those need a licensed live-quote feed, which fin·calc doesn't have connected yet (see the Invest overview). We'd rather leave them out than show stale or unlicensed prices. Click a company's name to see its recent filings on the company page.
Which companies are covered?
The US-listed companies in our stock directory, which is itself drawn from the SEC's public ticker list. A company drops out of a screen if it hasn't filed the numbers a filter needs. This is general information, not investment advice — see our disclaimer.
