Recent central bank rate changes
· 39 decisions since 1 August 2026 · each row links to the central bank’s own announcement.
Every policy-rate decision announced by the 31 central banks behind fin·calc’s country calculators since 1 August 2026, newest first. A policy rate is the anchor every loan and deposit rate in that country is priced against, so a change here usually shows up in bank rates within weeks. Holds are listed too: a hold at a high rate still matters if you are borrowing.

How this log works
Each row is checked against the central bank’s own press release or decision page, linked in the Source column. We never take a figure from a comparison site or a data aggregator. Where a bank’s site could not be read when we checked, the row says so and names the news outlet that reported the decision; where no reliable figure was available, it shows “Check on … site” instead of a number.
Dates are announcement dates. Some banks apply the new rate a day or more later; where that matters, the row notes it. Singapore is not listed because the Monetary Authority of Singapore steers the exchange rate rather than setting a policy rate, and Vietnam’s central bank announced no change in this period.
The same figures feed the 33-country central bank rate table and the monthly rates digest. Spotted a decision we missed? Tell us.
